The main objective of this investigation is to demonstrate that the Optimal Lot Model can reduce the inventory costs of the company Inversiones J & V S.A.C., whose activity is the commercialization of industrial safety equipment and elements. Chapter I of the research work shows all that refers to the introduction, realizes the problematic reality of the companies and their relationship with the absence of inventory control systems, which are the basis for determining the necessary stock to cover the demand. In addition, the justifications and limitations in the development of the research and the general and specific objectives of the work are mentioned. Chapter II contains the international background, national and thesis sites the same objective of research, the environment, the writing of our work, the same chapter, the theoretical basis of the two variables of study, Optimal Lot Model of Order and inventory costs. Chapter III contains the type of research, in the present work it is experimental - pre experimental, while for the data collection was made use of observation, interview and documentary analysis. Chapter IV includes the results of the diagnosis of the current situation of purchasing management, as well as the results of the application of the EOQ model and the ABC classification of the 159 products of the company. the comparison of inventory before and after the EOQ model. In Chapter V contains the discussion, which shows the contrast of the results of this research with the theoretical basis and background cited in the work. Finally, include conclusions, references and corresponding annexes.
