The present work requires the elaboration of a production that contributes to the reduction of the levels of shrinkage generated in the area of injection of plastic parts of a company producing down. An analysis of the current situation of the company was made and the main problems that generated the shrinkage in the process were identified, said problems were prioritized according to the quantity (T) of defective parts and loss generated. In addition, the actual Six Sigma level of the injection process was determined. According to historical data obtained, in 2017 the waste generated was 83.75 T, exceeding by 13.76% in 2015, so the use of the methodology is recommended. Six Sigma for known success cases in the reduction. of shrinkage In the company has not yet developed the Six Sigma methodology, that is why it is vital to have the support of production management, the shift manager, machinists and workers to be able to reach the benefits of the methodology and the numbers provide information to design the improvement proposal. Paraiturala used quality tools of the DMAMC model, stories such as: process map, Matrix AMEF, Diagram of Paretto, Diagram Ishikawa. After designing the improvements, the data was again evaluated for a new analysis. From here, the expected results, cost / benefit, the new level of Six Sigma; applying the improvement amounted to 4.64. In addition, a decrease in the level of defective parts of the process was obtained by 17.49%, which represents a saving of S / 119,011.90.
