The objective was to determine the relationship that exists between the level of knowledge and attitudes about emergency oral contraception in obstetric students of the Private University of the North, 2019. In materials and methods, it is a descriptive type quantitative study with correlational scope and cross section. The instrument was a questionnaire that was applied to a population of 155 students, it was made up of 32 questions; between social and demographic characteristics; knowledge about emergency oral contraception (AOE) and attitudes about AOE. The results indicated that the predominant population is 98.10% female and the average age is between 20 and 29 years old 98.70%. In the analysis of the level of knowledge about the AOE, 14.80% obtained low knowledge, 72.30% medium knowledge and 12.90% high knowledge. In the study of attitudes about the AOE, it was noted; bad attitude 1.30%, regular attitude 32.90% and good attitude 65.80%. In addition, a low direct correlation was found between the level of knowledge and attitudes about the AOE. Conclusion, there is a similarly direct and in turn significant low relationship between the level of knowledge and attitudes about AOE in obstetrics students of VI, VII and VIII cycle of the Private University of North.
