This work is focused on using the tools of industrial engineering in the drip irrigation system to significantly reduce the use of water in the avocado crop, in the town of Santa Rosa De Quives, this work was carried out through various conditions , a joint effort was developed among the members of this thesis, as well as the residents of this community, for this type of irrigation system activity we know that when implementing it we had a bit of resistance from the residents, but after implementing one enjoy the fact of having a much better irrigation system, and especially not to lose a very important resource such as water, so scarce in these years worldwide. In order to develop this system, we have qualified technical personnel, tools and equipment, trying as much as possible to minimize costs because of the above mentioned lines that the villagers when they observe a new irrigation system generates distrust. The daily work on the farm is complicated, for the reason of working under various factors, heat, fertilizers and especially the rational use of water, for this the geographical situation, plays a very important role because if these lands are far away of those places that have this natural resource, it is difficult to irrigate and consequently the harvest of avocados and their decrease in production. Among the objectives of this work is that this system can be used in all its geographical areas, and use this system of watering plants progressively, it is very important to use these tools in our quantitative values and especially the search solutions such as searching save water use and increase avocado production, for this industrial engineering is very important for these processes so much so that our work made samples and made comparisons with normal irrigation vs drip irrigation and all this information was analyzed, ordered to be processed by means of said tools. The second chapter contains the theoretical framework corresponding to the use of the tools of industrial engineering which constitutes the theoretical basis of our drip irrigation system and the significant reduction in the use of water in the cultivation of avocado in the town of Santa Rosa From Quives, which gives way to the third chapter where the described theoretical aspects are applied, beginning with the development of a data collection tool, which will be the source of information of the study, which is then proceeded with the application of the remaining tools in the different processes, in the implementation of the irrigation system by drip, for it we will apply the own tools of the industrial engineering such as Ishikawa diagram, which helped to determine the possible causes of the problem; Pareto diagram, which helped to determine the few vitals of the many trivia; DOP, which is a diagram of operations of the process and finally a Gantt Diagram, which helped to plan and program the activities in the implementation of the drip irrigation system, so that they can be used constantly and pointing always to a continuous improvement of the quality in this case to improve the production of the harvest of avocado in the town of Santa Rosa De Quives as well as a comparison of the use of the normal irrigation technique with respect to drip technique both economically and in production. Finally, the thesis ends with a fourth chapter where the conclusions obtained in the process of implementing said drip irrigation system and its pertinent recommendations are framed, obtaining as a result a considerable economic saving of 5 000.00 soles in the first month since its installation and with a forecast of 10,000.00 soles in its first year, obtaining economic benefits for the farmer as well as a social benefit since we are rationalizing the use of water thanks to the implementation of this sophisticated irrigation system being friendly to the environment.
