Desajuste emocional y afrontamiento al estrés en pacientes con insuficiencia renal crónica de un hospital de la red asistencial de Essalud de La Libertad

Abstract

RESUMEN El objetivo general del presente estudio fue determinar la relación entre el Desajuste Emocional y el Afrontamiento al estrés en pacientes con insuficiencia renal crónica de un hospital de la red asistencial de EsSalud de la Libertad, en la ciudad de Trujillo. La investigación se caracteriza como, descriptiva correlacional, no experimental. Se consideró a 108 pacientes de la unidad de hemodiálisis del hospital, a quienes se aplicaron dos tipos de instrumentos: Cuestionario de Desajuste Emocional y Recursos Adaptativos (Moreno C., Anqueras R., Jenaro C.) y Cuestionario de afrontamiento al Estrés para pacientes Oncológicos (Gonzales M.). Ambos instrumentos fueron adaptados en una población con características similares, los resultados revelan la adecuada confiabilidad de los instrumentos (0.89 y 0.808 respectivamente). Dentro de los resultados, se encontró la relación parcial entre sus variables siendo altamente significativas entre el Desajuste Emocional y la Afrontamiento al estrés (p=0.028 y χ²=4.462). ABSTRACT The general objective of the present study was to determine the relationship between Emotional Challenge and Coping with Stress in patients with chronic renal failure at a hospital in the health care network of EsSalud of The Libertad, in the city of Trujillo. The research is characterized as, descriptive correlational, non-experimental. 108 patients from the hemodialysis unit of the hospital were considered, and the types of instruments were applied: Emotional Disability Questionnaire and Adaptive Resources (Moreno C., Anqueras R., Jenaro C.) and Patient Stress Coping Questionnaire Oncológicos (Gonzales M.). Both instruments were adapted in a population with similar characteristics, the results reveal the adequate reliability of the instruments (0.89 and 0.808 respectively). Within the results, we found the partial relationship between the variables that strongly influence Emotional Impairment and Coping with Stress (p = 0.028 and χ² = 4.462).
