In the company SETRAMI S.A.C. It was identified as an opportunity for improvement the implementation of control tools for maintenance management based on the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) methodology for the following reasons: they currently lack a working procedure for the execution of preventive and corrective maintenance, Lack of materials and work tools, lack of training of personnel, lack of control indicators and inadequate storage of equipment, tools and materials, generating a cost of approximately S /. 1,137,366.90 soles. Reason why in a medium or long time the equipment could present failures, resulting in shutdowns - dead times, and the increase of corrective work, causing high costs of repair, and therefore its impact on production. In the present project we implemented the Pillars of Scheduled Maintenance, Autonomous Maintenance, Training and 5 “S“, which allowed us to achieve an impact in the maintenance area whose results were reflected in the optimization of resource use, in the economic aspect, Technological, labor and security, obtaining a cost reduction benefit of 44%, being an approximate of S /. 345,336.07 soles. The implementation of the project described within the mentioned advantages we can highlight the optimal operation of equipment and machines avoiding unexpected stops, dead times, achieving an increase in availability by 95%. In the economic part will reduce the costs of corrective work and of dead time all this translated in losses of production; Likewise, a preventive maintenance plan containing the necessary work activities will extend the life of equipment and machines, reducing preventive maintenance costs by 15% and overtime costs by 40%, a profit of S /. 95.865.05 soles. In the labor aspect, it will be strengthened by the improvement of the security processes to the people who operate directly with the equipment; the worker will perform his tasks confident that he will not be the victim of any failure.
