Propuesta de mejora de los procesos de recepción y almacenamiento de materia prima en una empresa de producción de especialidades veterinarias 2017

Abstract

RESUMEN La oportunidad de realizar la propuesta de mejora se dio por el importante número de materiales que se reciben a diario en la empresa de producción de especialidades veterinarias y el almacenamiento del mismo, las mermas originadas en la descarga de materiales y por último los costos de almacenaje que paga la empresa a un almacén externo, adicionalmente se generan descontentos en los proveedores por las extensas jornadas de espera en las instalaciones de la compañía, tiempo que para ellos es improductivo. Se inició con la definición del problema, y un proceso de medición durante seis meses, tiempo durante el cual se recolectó información referente con cantidad de materiales recibidos, tiempos en el almacenamiento, mermas y costos de almacenaje. Las exigencias de los clientes respecto de la calidad de los productos son cada vez mayores, asimismo el mercado exige ser bastante competitivo en costos, por lo cual un elemento diferenciador, será el analizar la mejora en los procesos logísticos y eliminar todo lo que no genera valor. El objetivo de este proyecto es realizar una propuesta de mejora de los procesos de recepción y almacenamiento de materias primas en una empresa de producción de especialidades veterinarias, En general podemos concluir que esta propuesta fue viable y de muy buenos resultados para el proceso de recepción y almacenamiento, reducción de mermas y disminuir los costos de almacenamiento en el almacén externo, procesos muy importantes en toda empresa.

ABSTRACT This opportunity to realize the proposal of improvement was caused by the quantity of materials that the company received everyday for the veterinarian section and the storage that it has, the depletion the material had were caused in the moment they were packed away in the storage and at least but not less important the money the company pay for the reservoir, in addition there is a problem with the suppliers and the long period of time that they wait for the products is profitless time. It starting with the definition of the problem and its causes, a process was started for six months to have an accurate count of the materials, in this time many information were received like the quantity of products, the time the suppliers wait for the materials, quantity of decreased material, etc. The needed from the clients for the quality of the products are being increased, besides the market need competitive prices, so the company needs to be different, to analize the logistic processes and erase everything that does not make money is required. The objective of this project is to make a proposal of improvement of the processes of reception and storage of raw materials in a company of production of veterinary specialties. We can conclude that this proposal would have positive results for the receivement and storagement of materials, price of the storagement, depletion of materials and better earnings, very important things for the company.
