The purpose of this research is to analyze the substantial impact of the Deming Cycle on operational performance through productivity, which is the dependent variable in Empresa de Transporte y Servicio Nueva América SA in the year 2023. The aim is to evaluate how the implementation of the Deming Cycle, based on the principles of Planning, Execution, Verification and Improvement, influences the productivity of the operations area. The applied research, with a quantitative approach, adopted an experimental design, pre-experimental type and is at an explanatory level. The analysis covered a period of 52 weeks before and 45 weeks after the execution of the experiment, with the participation of 56 employees directly linked to the project in the operations area, including technical specialists, middle managers and supervisors. As a result of the implementation of the Deming cycle, there was an increase of 6.17% in the efficiency of service kilometers. Similarly, demand management efficiency experienced an increase of 5.70%. Considering these metrics related to productivity, a total increase of 11.25% is evidenced in the Operations area of ETS Nueva América SA during the year 2023, this improvement ratified in Inferential Statistical Analysis and the t-test for equality of means, it is thus what concerns the normality test of productivity is estimated at . 200, > 0.05, therefore, the data of this test show that it comes from a normal distribution and its significance level for this variable is 0.000 < 0.05 so the null hypothesis is rejected and the alternative hypothesis is accepted.
