ABSTRACT This thesis has been prepared in order to make a proposal for improving the company Cartavio SAA for the implementation of an Integrated Occupational Safety Management System and Health and Environment under the requirements of OHSAS 18001: 2007 and ISO 14001: 2004 in order to reduce accident rates and environmental impact on the company. Diagnosis of the current situation of the company was conducted by designing the check list against the requirements of OHSAS 18001: 2007 and ISO 14001: 2004. Besides analyzing the information provided by the company regarding the accident frequency rates, severity and injury severity and Matrix Environment RIAM in allowing us to determine the most common problems, besides having knowledge that the company has a ISO 9001: 2008 quality. A single set of documentation to facilitate the use and understanding of GIS, which provides an overview of how the procedures complement each other and there is no need to create additional elements, eliminating duplication of information, was established so that developed the Integrated Management System where the Integrated Management System that defines and sets reflected the requirements of ISO 14001 Manual: 2004 and OHSAS 18001: 2007
