Social networks captivate the younger generations who are more prone to lack of control in terms of use. Likewise, the addition to social networks would impact the sexual behavior of young people. Therefore, the objective of this thesis is to determine the relationship between addiction to social networks and risky sexual behaviors in adolescents from an educational center in San Juan de Lurigancho, 2022. To this end, a non-experimental design study was carried out. correlational, with a population of 137 sexually active students and a census sample of the same size, to whom a social media addiction questionnaire and a sexual risk behavior questionnaire were applied. The results were that 48.9% present a medium level of addiction to social networks, the sexual behaviors with the highest risk correspond to the use of a condom in the first sexual act (35.0%), age of initiation of sexual relations ( 24.1%) and frequency of sexting (20.4%). The Spearman evaluation test shows that there is a direct relationship between addiction to social networks and risky sexual behaviors (p<0.01). Addiction to social networks in adolescents is related to a greater practice of risky sexual behaviors.
