ABSTRACT What motivates an employee? And how can manage the performance according to the organization needs? .Those questions are answered in this research. For this purpose, as a support material for this research, were revised and referred several theories regarding the motivation and we selected one of them as baseline to develop this study, we refer to “Needs hierarchy theory” from Abraham Maslow, This study evidences the theory that when the organizations promote timely and properly the conditions in order to motivate their workers, they will obtain results as a production increase, in the meantime promoting economic benefits for the organization. In the other way, the level of demotivation will affect the employees’ productivity, and hence low efficiency into the organization reflected in the decrease of the loans performed as employee productivity metric. Therefore, through the application of several techniques and tools, it has been able to determinate how the employees are motivated and how this affects their level of productivity. Furthermore, the study indicates that the Financial Institution has not implemented properly the factors and conditions that motivate their workers, focusing mainly in a single dimension which finishes being insufficient. In the other hand, is very important to understand how the application of an integral motivation program affects directly to the productivity, reaching out that employees feel identified with their own achievements and with the organization as well. The proposal presented here, will not only benefits to the organization, but will allow to increase the satisfactions of the employees in order to obtain good results and also serve as input for other organizations in the similar sectors.
