Propuesta de mejora en el área de logística para reducir los costos operacionales en la empresa Huaman & Jave S.A.C.

Abstract

El presente trabajo de investigación tiene como objetivo general reducir los costos operacionales del área de logística en la empresa Huaman & Jave S.A.C. Asimismo, plantear propuestas de mejora para reducir los mismos. Se diagnosticó la situación actual de la empresa Huaman & Jave S.A.C, específicamente en el área de Logística y se verificó que no cuentan con una buena comunicación en dicha área. Una vez terminada la etapa de identificación del problema, se redactó la situación de la empresa, identificando 7 causas raíces que fueron determinadas mediante el Diagrama de Ishikawa. Posteriormente, se tuvieron que priorizar las causas raíces aplicando el Diagrama de Pareto, en donde se determinó que 4 de ellas generan el mayor impacto en los costos logísticos de la empresa. Asimismo, se determinó el impacto económico de las 4 causas raíces priorizadas, representándolas en pérdidas monetarias. Estos costos ascienden a S/. 352,224.84 anuales. Por otro lado, el presente trabajo detalla propuestas de mejora como son: Manual de Organización y Funciones, Plan de Capacitación, SRM (Supplier Relationship Management), Perfil de Puestos, Método de 5S y Muestreo que ayudaran a reducir los costos operacionales. Finalmente, con la información analizada se realizó un análisis económico financiero para comprobar que el estudio realizado es viable para la empresa, puesto que se logró obtener un VAN de S/.74,462.31, un TIR de 65.99%, PRI de 1.4 años y un B/C de 1.3. Por lo tanto, se determinó que la propuesta es viable para la empresa Huaman & Jave S.A.C.

The main objective of this research is to reduce the operational costs of the logistics area in the company Huaman & Jave S.A.C. Also, give improvement proposals to reduce them. The current situation of the company Huaman & Jave S.A.C was diagnosed, specifically in the area of Logistics and it was verified that they do not have good communication in that area. Once the identification stage of the problem was finished, the situation of the company was drafted, identifying 7 root causes that were determined by the Ishikawa Diagram. Subsequently, the root causes had to be prioritized by applying the Pareto Diagram, where it was determined that 4 of them generate the greatest impact on the logistics costs of the company. Likewise, the economic impact of the 4 prioritized root causes was determined, representing them in monetary losses. These costs amount to S /. 352,224.84 per year. On the other hand, this work details improvement proposals such as: Organization and Functions Manual, Training Plan, SRM (Supplier Relationship Management), Position Profile, 5S Method and Sampling that will help reduce operational costs. Finally, with the analyzed information an economic financial analysis was carried out to verify that the study carried out is viable for the company, since it was possible to obtain an NPV of S /.74,462.31, a IRR of 65.99%, PRI of 1.4 years and a B/C of 1.3. Therefore, it was determined that the proposal is viable for the company Huaman & Jave S.A.C.
