The satellite platforms represent new clean technology for the sustainable and sustainable control of groundwater in any part of the earth and with application in all branches of knowledge, it allows the monitoring of accumulation changes in a detailed way and in real time. The objective of this study was to identify groundwater using the LANDSAT 8 platform, by using surface parameters in the Mashcón river basin. In a study population of 307.49 Km2 corresponding to the Mashcón basin, with the research design of the type Non-experimental, transversal, and uses spectral techniques to determine different types of materials, supported by data collection instruments, such as the Aster satellite, the Geoimagen software and the SNAP software for the spectral analysis, obtaining as the main result the identification of the water recharge zones. The result of the research shows that of the 96 groundwater wells registered by ANA 76 represent the class, groundwater, which provides a 79% reliability in the identification of groundwater zones. It is concluded that the reliability of this study is based on the underground wells mapped in the field by ANA water resource, and have a clearer baseline for mining and design remediation; It will also open the doors to the use of remote sensing as a complementary tool to studies in all branches of knowledge.
