The following investigation has the objective: To determinate the relationship between the parents ‘knowledge and the quality of the children´s lives with Down syndrome of the Special Basic Education Center- Lima, 2019. Methodology: quantitative, correlational approach, non- experimental design. The population was about 35 parents of children with Down syndrome of the Special Basic Education Center; the collection of data was made about questions using the survey technique. The tools were reviewed by 5 expert judges with Aiken greater than 0.60 and the reliability for knowledge with RK-20 of 0.687 and for the quality of life with a cronbach alpha of 0.7. For the determination of the relationships, the correlational of Rho of Spearman was used. Results: There were 43% of parents who have the high level and a 43% regular quality of life in children with down syndrome. Of the total of the parents in the dimension, the 80% have a high level and 74% with a regular quality of life of children with down syndrome. Finally, in the information dimension, 77% of parents have a high level and 71% have a regular quality of life for children with down syndrome. Conclusion: The knowledge is related to the quality of life of children with down syndrome of the Special Basic Education Center - Lima, 2019.
