The present work fulfills the characteristics designed by the author, for what this transactional investigation is of type correlacional. Not experimental, due to the fact that it is realized without manipulating the variables of study to influence them; cross street because the summary of information is realized in the only moment; and correlacional due to the fact that the emotional intelligence will decide with the labor performance and if this one guards relationship between them. For the fieldwork, a questionnaire was applied to all the workers of the company, which totalizes the quantity of 10 people.
