This research was developed within the sanitary engineering and had as general objective to make a proposal of design of the system of basic sanitation in the Caserío de Huayabas, District of Parcoy, Province of Pataz, Department of La Libertad. The sample was the 205 inhabitants of the hamlet. The research methodology was identified as Non-Experimental, descriptive. Methods used were interviews, direct observation and review of documents of similar projects. The results were to build 41 modules of Basic Units of Sanitation and biodigestor, with a design period of 10 years, each module will be of 3.30 m2, the water supply of 80 l / hab / day, Installation of 41 biodigestors of 600 liters and the infiltration system has 2 ditches of 0.60x0.80x5.50 meters. The budget is 634 557.06 S /. and a run time of 120 days. The conclusions are the design of basic units of sanitation with biodigestor, it was determined that there is currently no sanitation system in the farm, the drainage red contains 2 lines: a PVC pipe 4“ for the toilet that connects the biodigestor and the another PVC pipe line 2“ for gray water that is coupled to the outlet of the biodigestor, an anaerobic biological treatment with an efficiency of removal of: DBO 94% (15-80 mg / l), DQO 88% (80-190 mg / l), sedimentable solids 98% (0.05-0.3 ml / l ) and stabilized Ph (7.5 - 8.5 UpH). The social impact in the passage of the operation, short-term improvement of water quality and elimination of sources of pollution, with positive reflections on the health of the population, also reducing costs for medical services, Reduction risk of morbidity and mortality.
