ABSTRACT The present research work entitled “Labor Intermediation and its Effects on the Labor Cost of the Altamirano Consortium of the city of Trujillo in 2017“, develops the theme of detecting the effect in determining the cost of the hand of work if labor intermediation is considered, since many companies currently execute this type of contract in order to get a qualified and specialized hand according to the service requested. The purpose of creating a consortium is to provide a specific service, since once the work is completed, the profits that have been generated will have to be settled and distributed; for this reason, the shareholders must evaluate all the costs and expenses that are generated in the execution of the work. Chapter 1 describes the problematic reality of the company, considering that it has workers who are not all on payroll and do not have a formal contract, thus reducing labor costs so that their earnings are not be affected, as a result have had several observations by the Ministry of Labor, which can generate many losses, because some workers do not have any insurance and if an accident occurs this would totally harm the company. Chapter 2 presents mainly the background related to the research topic, obtained from the analysis and consultation of various theses and theoretical bases that will serve as bibliographic references for the development of our research work. Chapter 3 describes the methodology to be followed for the development of the research, identifying the variables to be investigated, that is, the variables defined as labor cost and labor intermediation. Chapter 4 presents the results obtained in the development of the specific objectives and on the measurement of the indicators, that is, the determination of the effect of labor intermediation on labor costs. Finally, in chapter 5 the validation of our hypothesis is explained through the results of the development of the indicators, it was determined that labor intermediation affects the labor cost significantly because it allows to compare the remunerative concepts and the social benefits that the consortium must pay with those generated by entering into the labor intermediation contract.
