The main objective of this research is to determine the relationship between procrastination and test anxiety in students of a university in the city of Cajamarca in the year 2021, so a descriptive-correlational, quantitative, non-experimental and cross-sectional study was developed, using two questionnaires for data collection; Procrastination Assessment Scale Students - PASS (Academic Procrastination Scale) and the Inventory of Self Assessment of Test Anxiety (IDASE), applied to 368 students of this university under study. The results showed that 48.1% of students presented a medium level of procrastination and 63.0% presented a medium degree of test anxiety. Finally, through inferential statistics, by means of Spearman's Rho, it was statistically proven that there is a direct relationship between procrastination and test anxiety in students of a university in the city of Cajamarca in the year 2021, with a correlation coefficient of 0.742. Therefore, as test anxiety increases among university students, the level of procrastination or postponement of activities will also increase, and vice versa.
