Earthquake resistant engineering in our country must continue to grow, develop and implement other construction systems, techniques and materials, with the aim of obtaining resistant buildings at the level of seismic performance. The present research work was carried out in the city of Trujillo, with the objective of determining the seismic performance of a 5-level multifamily building with EMMEDUE construction system, Trujillo -2020 The importance of this research resides in the fact that an analysis of earthquake-resistant, structural and economic behavior was presented, since it is important to show other construction systems that, under high controls, allow us to choose other options for the construction of our multi-family homes. The present investigation is descriptive, with a non-experimental design and with a cross sectional study unit, the sample was non-probabilistic, data collection was carried out through documentary review; and the instruments used were the summary sheet. Among the main results obtained from the investigation, we have that both systems satisfactorily meet the regulatory requirements, an optimal earthquake-resistant performance.
