In these times, the global trends in the silver jewelry market are marked by the context of the coronavirus pandemic (Covid-19). The obligation to wear a face mask in much of the world and considering that video calls or video conferences do not show the full body but mostly the face, neck and hands, this context points to a greater use of ornaments and jewelry on ears, hands and neck, which represents an opportunity in the jewelry market in general. Despite the fact that the United States is the main export destination for Peruvian silver jewelry in FOB [Free on Board] value, Peru does not appear in the rankings of the main suppliers of silver jewelry in the United States, due to due to the lack of industrialization, the informality of the sector and the lack of government support since there is no sectoral development policy. The objective of this research is to provide information on the profile of the US market and worldwide, for the export of silver jewelry items from Peru, with tariff heading 7113.11.00.00, applying commercial intelligence, demonstrating that with this tool it will keep us at the forefront. , it will be possible to analyze, know and thus be able to anticipate the behavior of the main destination markets, becoming a tool that every Peruvian company should apply as a strength, if what is desired is to carry out commercial operations with predictable results and avoid unexpected situations.
