The present study seeks to determine the relationship between the perception of psychology students regarding the tutoring service provided by the school and the academic performance. We worked with a population of 500 students, of which a sample of 176 students belonging to the academic cycles between the sixth and tenth cycle was taken, of which 48 students who attended psychological counseling were also considered. A survey made especially for the study was used as a measurement instrument, which was statistically validated, as well as the documentary analysis for information regarding academic performance. It can be seen that the vast majority of students, with a percentage of 80.7% are within a regular level in terms of academic performance, ie their average scores are between 11 and 14 points on a scale of 0 to 20, where 43.2% of them consider that the tutoring service is good or very good. Making the statistical analysis we can conclude that there is no direct and significant relationship between the tutoring service and the academic performance of students, since there are other factors that can be influential as mentioned by several authors in this study, connected to the subjectivity of each student. Therefore, as a result we find that the perception of the psychology student's tutoring service is independent of academic performance.
