The present project shows the market, technical, economic, financial and social viability of the implementation of a producing of children’s desks made from the recycling tetrabrik packages. First, the general aspects of the project are presented and the target market is established as people who have children, who live in Metropolitan Lima and who belong to NSE A and B. Regarding the demand for the project, a market study is carried out through an estimation without historical data base and surveys. Thus, an annual demand of 15 145 desks is obtained. It is identified that the most suitable location of the plant is the district of Chilca, in Lima, since it presents a greater generation of tetrabrik packages, as well as a greater number of industrial parks. On the other hands, it is determined that the size of the plant will be limited by the market. Then, the optimal technology for the process is selected; with this, an installed capacity of 16 848desks per years is reached. Also, the total area of the plant is determined to be 890 m2. Further on, the organization of the company and the functions of the 22 employees are described and the organizational chart is shown. It is calculated that a total investment of S/1 550 557 is required and it is shown that the project will be profitable and viable, since it is obtained an economic NPV of S/286 369, an economic IRR of 31,57%, a financial NPV of S/592 868 and a financial IRR of 46,63%. Finally, the social contribution of the project is measured through an analysis of social indicators. The added value during the first five years would be S/5 935 835, this proves that the project has a positive impact on society.
