This project focuses on the creation of a style manual and a design program called ‘Guide for Non-Designers’, aimed at the National Maternal Perinatal Institute of Lima, as well as medical staff and interns. The objective is to establish a cohesive visual identity and provide a tool for creating designs that effectively communicate both internally within the institution and to patient mothers. The importance of effectively disseminating Maternal-Child Health is recognized, and an innovative approach is proposed to improve access to health services in this area. Documentary and ethnographic research methodologies have been used, with emphasis on illustration, layout, and information design. The graphic proposal includes elements and important characters from the obstetric health area, in order to create a specific resource bank for this context. The validations carried out indicate that the design program has been well received both in practical and visual terms, being memorable and functional for various senders and users in different contexts, but with the same purpose: to communicate effectively.
