Objective: to identify the attitudes and factors associated with pharmacological adherence in patients at the Enrique Montenegro Health Center. Materials and methods: quantitative approach, cross-sectional and observational, with a sample of 200 patients and Morisky, Green-Levine test was applied, Pearson's Chi-square test was used to determine association between patient attitude and pharmacological adherence. To contrast the relationship between factors and pharmacological adherence, Spearman's Rho statistical measure was used. Results: 93.5% adhered to treatment, 6.5% did not, and 92.5% had a positive attitude and 7.5% had a negative attitude. In the economic and health factors, 57.5% and 53% did not respond to adherence behaviors. Conclusions: the health system has an influence on pharmacological adherence. However, despite having a favorable rate in the health system, 58.6% of the treatment factor and medication did not respond with treatment adherence behavior.
