Objective: determine the relationship between knowledge and preventive practices of pulmonary tuberculosis in patients treated in the Cañete Health Network, Yauyos-2023. Materials and methods: the quantitative approach, non-experimental, transversal and correlational design. The sample was made up of 93 patients treated at the health facility. The instruments were two interviewers, both with two dimensions, valid and reliable in the national context. Results: the average age was 47.08 years. Regarding sex, 52.7% (n=49) were female and 47.3% (n=44) were male. Regarding marital status, 64.5% (n=60) were cohabiting, 20.4% (n=19) were widowed and 15.1% (n=14) were single. Regarding the level of education, 53.8% (n=50) had secondary school, 32.3% (n=30) had higher education and 14% (n=13) had primary school. The level of knowledge was medium in 59.14% (n=55), followed by low in 21.51% (n=20) and high in 19.35% (n=18). In the practices, the level was healthy in 67.74% (n=63) and unhealthy in 32.26% (n=30). Conclusion: there is a significant relationship between knowledge and preventive practices of pulmonary tuberculosis in patients treated in the Cañete health network, Yauyos-2023.
