This research was carried out with the purpose of analyzing the most influential factors in the purchase within a leather shoe store in Magdalena del Mar and determine the order of priority given to them, as well as the level of influence of these factors in the purchase decision of women over 35 years of age. The main objective was to better understand consumers in how these factors influenced their purchase decision so that the company acts effectively to generate satisfaction in them, offer a differentiated service and a unique experience in its audience. The research methodology used was descriptive and correlational, with a quantitative approach with a non-experimental and cross-sectional design. A questionnaire was used as a data collection instrument to a random sample of 59 women who bought in the store, the factors considered were the characteristics of footwear (design, color, sale price and brand), commercial atmosphere (lighting and music) and customer service (quality of customer service). The main results showed that 35% of clients prioritized shoe design. Likewise, lighting, music and customer service positively influenced 84%, 75% and 81% of purchases respectively. From these results, it could be concluded that the order of priority for deciding to buy a shoe is: design, color, sale price and brand. In addition, the lighting, music of the store and the attention of the seller had a high level of influence on purchasing decisions, which concluded that the commercial atmosphere, in this case represented by lighting, music and the other two factors mentioned, determine the decision during the purchase of footwear.
