Treatment centers for minors who commit criminal offences, especially those in the open system, manifest many infrastructure inadequacies that fail to cover the rehabilitative needs of an appropriate re-education process, which often results in the deportation of youth into a (closed system) that neglects them altogether. The present research focuses on determining the architectural parameters that would favour the reintegration of young offenders into society through means of rehabilitation that maintain the social environment of the minor by considering the place in which he is inserted. Thus, the social context is a determining factor in the planning of the Project from an integrative approach that fulfills the objective of the re-education program. This will be achieved through an opportunity space located in the Cerro el Pino that permits adaptability according to the needs of the users, allowing us to propose an active space that works as a social catalyst for both neighborhood improvement and integration programs.
