After conducting a survey and market analysis, it was determined that the demand for this project will be aproximately 61 842 cans of 400 g nutritional supplement powder for the year 2020 with an annual average growth of 9%. After evaluating the location for the factory, we came to the conclusion that Puente Piedra district was the best option for the plant. Additionaly, it was calculated that the capacity of the project will be limited to 134,12 kg per day or 335 units of 400 g of the product. Regarding the evaluation of the economic and financial aspects, we found that the total investment required for the project is S/. 1 603 679 with a bank financing of the 70%, generating a NPV of S/. 2 087 415 in 5 years. Also, the period for the return of the investment will be 1 year and 2 months. An analysis of the characteristics that this product needs to have, the market it is aimed to, the capacity of the plant and its more convenient location, as well as the technology that will be used is shown below and it ends with the economic and financial evaluation of the project.
