The Andean music video clip since its appearance in Peru has managed to represent the Andean culture, having as its main axis the festive sense of life as a means of expression. Therefore, this type of audiovisual production is capable of transporting a set of traditions and customs based on its two primary elements, sound and image, which function as tools that create identity meanings in the viewer. On the one hand, the visual field that is inscribed on an aesthetic model for this format, has spaces, clothing, and a photographic direction that emanate symbolism for the receiver. On the other hand, in the sound aspect, the song itself represents the identity of a people that seeks to tell their stories or experiences through the lyrics of their songs and the musical instruments that accompany them. Thus, the objective of this research is to identify how the Andean identity is represented through the narrative and aesthetic elements of the Andean music video clip. This will be done using the content analysis technique on four Andean music video clips by each respective author: Jilguero del Huascarán, Anita Fajardo and Max Castro. For this reason, it has been proposed to use the content analysis guide instrument, in whose study units the dimensions of the topic to be studied will be deepened.
