|The District Municipality of Lurigancho, led by Mayor Oswaldo Vargas Cuellar, has established through the Institutional Strategic Plan (PEI) 2023 - 2027 a policy aimed at promoting a participatory and concerted government. Recognized for its efficient management, the municipality has faced significant challenges, such as insufficient resources to address the basic needs of the population, evidencing a high rate of poverty and a lack of basic services. Despite the recognition received for its efficient budget execution and social programs, the Municipality of Lurigancho faces financial limitations that make it difficult to provide comprehensive attention to its citizens. In order to solve this situation, several strategies have been proposed, the most promising of which is the implementation of campaigns to increase the number of new taxpayers. To ensure the success of this initiative, close collaboration between the different municipal areas and constant monitoring of the results obtained are required, with the aim of making adjustments as necessary. This comprehensive approach seeks to improve the quality of life in the district by addressing challenges such as poverty and lack of basic services.
