This work addresses the financial challenge that small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) experience when trying to access financing characterized by lengthy processes and extensive requirements that limit the growth of these companies. To solve this problem, a web application was designed and developed to optimize the loan application process for SMEs. The project included aspects such as the definition of the scope, the analysis of the technologies to be implemented and the construction of the solution. The developed web application allowed SMEs to access a dedicated and efficient platform where they could make credit applications and disbursements. This website was supported by integrating with already existing resources of the source entity of study for operation such as financial risk assessment, monetary transactions and identity validation, these services were already available for automated use from some internal platform of the company but were not exposed to the public. Due to this implementation, credit application approval times were reduced by 99,75%. This significant improvement not only speeds up access to financing for SMEs, but also contributes to reducing the operating costs related with this process, generating a positive impact on the operational efficiency of the organization, and contributing to the inclusion of more SMEs with access to financial resources necessary for their development.
