Three alternative solutions were proposed. The first focuses on improving the flow of activities for the management of medical records, procedures and policies so that they are more agile. The second focuses on implementing improvements in the Sisgalen Plus system to include new functions that include the doctor's signature and seal in digital format. The third is to implement training plans, job performance measurement programs, and staff awareness programs to improve their skills regarding medical record management. The research was qualitative, with review and observation of processes, analysis of academic articles and interviews with staff. The results indicate that improving the Sisgalen Plus system so that it includes the doctor's signature and seal in digital format can significantly reduce the waiting time of patients seeking to obtain a medical appointment in an outpatient clinic, since the general waiting time is reduced. optimizes from 10 to 5 days maximum, positively impacting patient satisfaction and strengthening the institution's mission of safeguarding the life and health of pregnant women in high-risk situations.
