The service sector plays a fundamental role in the Peruvian economy, and within this, restaurants are of utmost importance for the development of the country. In recent years, this subsector has experienced significant transformations due to new trends and opportunities that have emerged after the COVID-19 pandemic. As a result, companies in this industry have had to adapt or face the risk of decreasing sales and losing potential customers. The gastronomic company selected to carry out this work was experiencing a decrease in its income during the year 2022, which significantly affected the performance of its net profit. This was due to the reduction in the volume of units of products sold and the low prioritization of serving home delivery orders. In order to counteract this trend, a project was carried out that integrated and jointly applied digital transformation tools and commercial strategy. To this end, processes were transformed, automated and optimized, which allowed the company to reach a greater number of clients that it had not previously served. This was achieved through the implementation of an additional sales channel and the principle of continuous improvement applied to the quality of the products. products and the optimal service offered. As a result, a 5.4% increase in net profit was achieved during the semester of project implementation, in addition to a 26.3% increase in product sales compared to the semester prior to its implementation.
