This document exposes an MYPE in the furniture sector in the city of Lima, it also details the importance of MYPEs and the impact they have on the Peruvian economy, since they are the main source of employment in the country and contribute 21 % national GDP. In an evaluation of the company's processes, opportunities for improvement are evident in its production, commercial and delivery logistics areas, which impacted the company's profitability, customer satisfaction and large-scale production capacity. The objective was to identify the main factors of product rejection, and how these rejections affected the company financially. That is why the main causes that originated these rejection factors were identified and the application of two tools was proposed as a solution: the theory of restrictions on the bottlenecks found in the production processes, mainly in the drying, finishing and furniture upholstery; and the PDCA tool in conjunction with standardization work and checklists to standardize various processes in the company and thereby efficiently use resources and better manage the execution of the processes (purchase, updating of samples, customer service, order taking, and measurement customer satisfaction). This application of quality methodologies and tools resulted in significant improvements in the company's profitability, a decrease in customer complaints about products with production failures or late deliveries. Most importantly, the level of trust in the company and customer satisfaction improved; bringing with it possible opportunities for customers to repurchase or recommend the company in the future, which in the medium term will translate into greater income for the company.
