The study focuses on increasing productivity levels through the application of the lean manufacturing methodology in the manufacturing process of the textile company Cesha Tactical. Initially, the company faced low levels of productivity, which affected its competitiveness and operational efficiency. To address these challenges, Cesha Tactical implemented several lean manufacturing tools, including SMED (Single Minute Exchange of Die), 5'S, and process standardization. SMED was used to reduce machinery and equipment changeover times, allowing for faster and more efficient transitions between different production tasks. This not only improved production flexibility, but also reduced downtime, thereby increasing production capacity. The implementation of the 5'S methodology (Classification, Order, Cleanliness, Standardization and Discipline) helped create a more organized and safe work environment. By keeping work areas clean and tidy, employees could find tools and materials more quickly, reducing wasted time and improving overall efficiency. Finally, process standardization ensured that all operations were performed uniformly and consistently. This not only improved the quality of the final product, but also made it easier to train new employees and resolve recurring problems. As a result of these initiatives, Cesha Tactical achieved significant improvements in production times and, overall, a considerable increase in productivity levels. The application of lean manufacturing allowed the company to optimize its manufacturing processes, reducing costs and improving customer satisfaction.
