This study covers the problems faced by the distributor Ópticas Fashion Center E.I.R.L. This lies in the high rate of order returns due to the nonexistence of a quality control area, inventory management and the absence of a manual outlining functions and processes. These returns are generated by various operational errors in picking, such as the delivery of incorrect ophthalmic frames, the presence of damaged ophthalmic frames or an incomplete order. To address this situation, a qualitative approach was chosen, which allows for analysis of each of the factors that contribute to returns, with the aim of reducing their incidence, improving the operational process and establishing a solution that lasts in the time. After an exhaustive data collection and analysis process, it was concluded that the best option was to implement a processes and procedures manual (MAPRO) and an organization and functions manual (MOF). Both manuals were prepared under the principles of the Lean Logistics methodology, since it establishes a clear and defined structure, providing the necessary guidelines to effectively address each process in the logistics area. In addition, they serve as fundamental tools to promote efficiency and quality control in all operations in the area.
