The company under study has a significant representation within the telecommunications sector, therefore it faces the challenge of having continuous operation and ensuring that processes flow correctly so that commercial breaks do not occur. For this reason, the purchase order process is identified as the key process so that operations develop optimally. However, it has been identified that this process has a delay in the delivery of fulfilled requests, which produces commercial breaks (lower income), dissatisfaction on the part of the internal client and unplanned expenses such as overtime payable. The implementation of the solution using the Lean Service philosophy, PDCA, Value Stream Mapping and digital transformation helped to significantly optimize the process, achieving the objectives set such as reducing response times per request, increasing the number of requests processed and finally reducing reprocessing that involves reducing the number of rejected applications and lost applications as there is no system that is responsible for collecting all applications in an orderly manner. With the solution implemented, the stated objectives were achieved, but it is expected that this will continue its process of continuous improvement, so it is recommended that once the improvement curve reaches its maximum limit, improvements and needs of the process should be reconsidered since It is not expected that this improvement will be the only one to be made, but rather that the investment of resources will be reduced, obtaining greater results.
