This research addresses the low retention rate of VISA credit card clients in a financial institution in Lima. The objective is to improve this rate by using the PDCA cycle focused on training the credit card team. In this study, trainings were conducted twice a week for three months. The results showed a significant improvement in customer retention in the Chatbot channel, with an increase from 9.6% to 18.9%, and small improvements in the office and telephone banking channels. The study's findings highlight the effectiveness of the PDCA cycle in continuously improving customer retention processes. The implementation of a monitoring system by the Contact Center Quality team guaranteed compliance with the retention processes and the correct classification of the benefits granted. Finally, this work contributes significantly to the field of customer management in the financial sector, demonstrating that the use of up-to-date data and analysis techniques can lead to more informed and effective decisions. The implemented methodology not only improved customer retention, but also strengthened the relationship with them, contributing greater financial stability and income for the organization.
