In any building project under construction, continuity is constantly threatened by the management of changes in any phase of the project, which, if not controlled, will cause a deviation from success as planned, mainly during its execution, which is the stage where deliverables materialize and require further attention from stakeholders. The objective of this work is to propose a methodological framework for the evaluation phase of the recovery scheme for building projects. To achieve this objective, templates and procedures are basically proposed for the diagnosis of the project status, which allows the real status of the project problems to be evidenced, where the symptoms and the need for recovery are evaluated; in addition to the recovery act where the necessary recovery level is formulated, even validate the possibility of closing the project. A bibliographical investigation will be carried out, of sources that propose methodologies for these contingency events, taking advantage of the experience of their application. Based on the analysis of the information collected, an appropriate methodology will be proposed for the building projects. The main tools proposed in this research work are the templates, which will serve as a model for their application and improvement, based on the particular experience of each project. It is recommended that, in the implementation of this proposal, constant follow-up be given to fine-tune the templates, which will allow a good adaptation in each organization.
