n our current health system there are problems in the quality of specialized outpatient services and in the safety of patient care due to the high rate of morbidity, chronic problems such as cancer, diabetes, among others. According to the World Health Organization, patient safety is defined as a fundamental principle of health care within the state of well-being of individuals; Its progress requires actions aimed at improving performance, managing environmental risks, and the safe use of medicines, equipment, clinical practice and the environment in which health care is provided (WHO, 2014). That is why we propose the following thesis project of the High Complexity Hospital III-1, which seeks to innovate the infrastructure, functionality and external and internal spatiality of the building. We will implement taking into account 3 theoretical bases: Modular architecture, neuroarchitecture and natural vegetation. We have taken as an example the reference cases that provide us with contributions in the functionality, spatiality and treatment of the facades, trying to have natural ventilation and lighting; This leads to better patient evolution and performance of health professionals.
