This study was developed in the district of El Milagro, specifically in Sector VIII, in recent years pavements have been developed in order to promote social and economic growth. In the same way, seeking to carry out the structural design of the flexible pavement using the AASHTO methodology, including a storm drainage system. For this project, it was taken into consideration that the area is a former ravine, therefore, considering this aspect, the design has a water system outlet, so that in this way the inhabitants of the area can have a comfort in case of coastal phenomena. Improving the trafficability of the area, an area despite being close to schools, entertainment centers and construction businesses, the streets where they are located do not have an asphalt coating or sidewalks. For the design to be efficient, we used what is dictated in the regulations, in this way we obtained a correct soil mechanics study, vehicular study, we also applied the guidelines of the Highway Manual, Standard CE.10: Urban Pavements of the national building regulations, the parameters for the hydrological study and general aspects of the drainage design. With the soil studies carried out, the average CBR of the area was obtained and having the vehicular study, i.e. the projected ESAL, an optimum pavement design proposal was obtained based on the AASHTO 93 methodology.
