In this thesis report ““Evaluation of the current condition of the flexible pavement on Av. Perú, 26 de Octubre district““ whose purpose is the application of the PCI methodology (Pavement Condition Index) to determine alternative solutions applicable to the deterioration of the pavement, justified in the observations made on the study road and the low passability visualized. For this reason, the quantification of the vehicles that circulate on the road was carried out, 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, obtaining an annual average daily index of 2566 vehicles as current demand, in which it is determined that 93.84% belong to the circulation of light vehicles and 6.16% to heavy vehicles. In the analysis of the PCI methodology for the road under study, a PCI of 44.49 with a regular condition grade was obtained; This road has a single section with two sections of which: section 1 obtained a PCI of 33.78 with a bad condition grade and in section 2 a PCI 55.20 was obtained with a regular condition grade. From the results obtained with respect to PCI 33.78 of section 1, the rehabilitation of the most affected sections is proposed, whose actions to take are the selective recovery and reinforcement of the pavement, starting with the demolition of the existing structure, in order to restore the structural capacity and quality of the road running surface. In section 2, a periodic maintenance intervention must be carried out whose activities are aimed at restoring the rolling surface and ensuring structural integrity. Local governments can take this thesis as a reference for the analysis of intervention and maintenance of the road, thus ensuring adequate passability of the road and that the population benefits.
