Within my work experience as a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Engineering, I have developed in the private sector executing various earthmoving projects, where I participated in different areas: machinery administration, construction machinery, earthmoving machinery, investment projects and surveying. The concepts of these areas were used to develop the professional proficiency work written in this document. The general objective of the work presented was to use the balance sheet tool of the Lean Construction philosophy in a contracting company, because it had low productivity rates in its production ratios within the loading and hauling activities on the yellow line, which had an impact on the direct costs of the project carried out, which is why we saw it necessary to reduce activities that do not generate value which generated an extra cost. The analysis developed for the work was carried out based on one of the tools of the Lean Construction philosophy which is based on breaking down the total number of activities developed and focusing them on only three (03) within a given period of time: productive times (T.P.), contributory times (T.C.) and non-contributory times (T.N.C.). This work had a phase in the field which was the collection of data to identify the total times, and then carry out a series of analyzes in the office that, together with the work team, would lead to the identification of the root problem with which The implementation of the improvement proposals continued, with the final result being an improvement in the execution of the project, improvement in control and the reduction of cost overruns generated, with which the optimization of productivity for the executed project was achieved.
