This research work evaluated three doses of gibberellic acid, whose commercial name is activol, applied to apple (Malus domestica Borkh.). The experiment was developed in the San Carlos farm, CP Montejato, district of San Vicente, province of Cañete and department of Lima during the agricultural campaign 2019-2020. Different doses of gibberellic acid 10 ppm, 15 ppm and 20 ppm and an absolute control were experimented with a backpack sprayer, at the phenological stage of fruit growth. A completely randomized design with 4 treatments and 4 replications was used, the variables evaluated were: yield and quality, the parameters measured were: apple tree production (kg/plant), apple tree production per unit area (t/ha), fruit size (mm) and peduncle length (mm). With the application of gibberellic acid, there was a significant effect in the treatments, increasing the yield of the apple crop considerably, resulting better the dose of 20 ppm (T3), with an apple production of 17.80 kg/plant, compared to the absolute control, 14.5 kg/plant, and in the apple production per unit of surface area, 29.60 t/ha was obtained, compared to the absolute control, 24.2 t/ha. A significant effect was also observed in the external quality of the fruit, with better results with the dose of 20 ppm (T3), achieving greater fruit size with 79.88 mm compared to the absolute control, 48.10 mm, and in the peduncle length parameter, 27.95 mm was achieved, compared to the absolute control, which only reached 14.90 mm. In this research, the variables evaluated showed significant differences between treatments.
