--- The microfiltration in the tooth restoration interface is a significant cause of secondary caries, periapical infectious diseases, fractures and debonding of the restoration. The aim of this study was to compare standard posts microfiltration between relined fiber posts having as a resin cement interface. The study was conducted on 30 human premolars recently extracted, was performed following the protocol of endodontic Technical Corono Apical. In 15 teeth relined fiber posts were placed; and 15 teeth post standard glass was placed; in both groups resin cement was used. At the end of this stage, the root surface is sealed. Then the sample was immersed in methylene blue 2% for 72 hours at room temperature, then placed in an oven at 37o for 24 hours after they were stored for 24 hours in a dry container before were sectioned transversally.. Samples were analyzed on a stereomicroscope 8x. The average microfiltration group standard post was 4000.1 microns while for the group relined fiber posts was 2567.8 microns. When applying the Student T test it was determined that there are statistical differences between groups. None of the forms of posts studied was able to completely prevent microleakage at the interface tooth-post. Microfiltration post standard fibers were greater than relined fiber posts, with a statistically significant difference. Keywords: Microleakage, relined fiber posts, cement.
