-- The AIDS, infectious and mortal disease, caused by Human Immunodeficiency Virus, is a pandemic that generates a big scienstific concerned, actually is the 4th cause of death of all around the world. For the last 2007, the stimation of death is 35,2 million of people and 33,2 million lives with that nowadays. Even there are pharmacology therapy calls HAART (High Activity Antirretroviral Treatment) that reduce the mortality, and also the incidence of opportunistic infectious and improve the life quality, is indispensable an> 95% Adherence to HAART to get the effective treatment. At this context, the present study “Factors associated to Adherence to HAART, in patients with HIV/AIDS in the National Hospital Hipólito Unanue, which general objectives is: Determine the factors associated to Adherence to HAART. The study is of applicative level, quantitative type, analytic, retrospective and transversal. The population was shaped by patients with HIV/AIDS that receives HAART in the National Hospital Hipolito Unanue. The sample was obtained by means of the random simple sampling. Proportions sampling; shaped by 91 patients. The instrument used by an Inquiry called Inquiry to determine the Adherence to HAART, the technology was the Interview. The most significant finds were that the fallowing variables: People, Who know about your illness, support to you; you trust in health people who work at TARGA Program in the National Hospital Hipólito Unanue; you carry the homes cares out; act as support factors, reducing the probability that the patients would be Non Adherence to HAART.
