--- This research is to establish the relationship between the variables: Learning styles related to academic performance in statistics course students EAPA cycle III, Faculty of Administrative Sciences - San Marcos - 2015 corresponds to a research approach explained quantitative level, correlational design. Among the variables studied a positive relationship between the different learning styles with academic achievement, the learner learns well and reaches it with a style of learning according to their needs is evidence of cognitive subject. When analyzing the possible correlation between academic performance of students and individual learning styles in an environment of cooperative academic development. not a perfect relationship between the proposed variables was found. It also states, moreover, differences of style predominant learning is convergent and assimilator, the relationship between the convergent dimension to academic performance is almost perfect, since the convergent style used abstract conceptualization, active experimentation, are deductive and are interested in the practical application. Regarding the assimilator dimension to academic performance, it says there is a strong relationship in the proposed model, therefore assimilated style, are characterized using abstract conceptualization, reflective observation. Finally divergent dimension to academic performance, we conclude there is no link between the proposed variables.
