--- This investigation corresponds to a prospective, descriptive and experimental design posed as to develop a methodology based on Manual for Teaching Rational Drug Use in the Community for the residents of shanty town “Moyopampa“ Lurigancho – Chosica district. The methodology used was participatory type consisted of the following topics: “Knowing the drug“, “From the pharmacy to the house“, “Beware of drugs in pregnancy and lactation“, “The drugs in children and older adults and Making appropriate use of medicines. “The sample consisted of twenty people aged fifteen and under seventy. The study was conducted in the months of January, February and March of 2013. We used the logical framework approach as a tool to develop activities related to research and generate results, which consisted of: a tool for managing the workshops, learning about rational drug use in the audience and a model of close. To verify the learning of the assistants, evaluations were performed in which we compared the variation between grades pre training and post training. The overall average pretest training for five modules was 8.56 and post-training assessments was 13.36 in which you can see a positive change. With 95% confidence we can say that the post-training global average was between 11.7 and 14.3 with an overall increase of 56%. In the end it was observed that 95% of the activities contained in the logical framework scheme were developed, evaluated the manual and the material developed by the health ministry, which was identified for some dynamic complexity, and produced a list of questions from the participants regarding the use, cost and efficacy of their medicines.
