--- Objective: To determine the factors that influence gender-based violence in women 20 to 40 years treated at the outpatient clinic of Gynecology Sergio Bernales Hospital - Comas, November-December 2015. Materials and Methods: An analytical study of case-control study on 264 women (132 women with presence of gender-based violence and 132 women with lack thereof) attending the outpatient clinic of the Hospital of Gynecology Sergio Bernales - Commas, November December 2015. Data collection was performed using a structured questionnaire to each patient, which identifies the factors that influence gender-based violence and types of the same was applied. An exploratory analysis of the variables using frequencies and percentages for qualitative variables was performed. All information was tabulated in Tables Univariate, bivariate contingency tables to determine the association of variables, the odds ratio (OR) with confidence intervals at 95% products. Finally we proceeded to multivariate analysis calculating the adjusted odds ratio with a confidence interval of 95%. Results: Most respondents were in a range of less than 30 years (52.27%), common law marriage (70.83%) and level of education as complete and incomplete secondary (63.63%) age. Economic violence is the most common (36.36%). While the most common factor was the presence of disease (23.11%). The bivariate analysis showed that the greatest predictor of economic violence factor was the consumption of alcohol in the couple (OR: 6.18; 95% CI 2.837 to 13.469), also psychological violence to the violence factor in childhood (OR: 4 87, 95% CI 2.313 to 10.257) for Physical Violence Alcohol consumption factor in the couple (OR: 10.08; 95% CI 4.371 to 23.288) and also for Sexual Violence Alcohol consumption factor in the couple (OR : 5.08; 95% CI 2.411 to 10.710). Multivariate analysis adjusted more to the greatest predictor of economic violence (OR: 5.70; 95% CI 2.260 to 14.395) factor, so did the greatest predictor of psychological violence (OR: 3.87; 95% CI 1.526 to 9.819) factor also with the greatest predictor of physical violence (OR: 9.28; 95% CI 3.206 to 26.904) factor and finally, with the greatest predictor of sexual violence factor (OR: 4.12; 95% CI 1.679 to 10.142) . Besides being born in the jungle in relation to the coast presented association with psychological violence (OR: 4.13; 95% CI 1.494 to 11.437); will be between 30 and 39 in relation to less than 30 presented association with physical violence (OR: 2.21; 95% CI 1.058 to 4.630) and finally have 40 years in relation to less than 30 presented association with the Sexual Violence (OR: 5.05; 95% CI 1.062 to 24.029). Conclusions: The bivariate analysis showed statistically significant results for the social factors (gender perspective), cultural factors (beliefs, Relationship Dating) and personal factors (presence of disease, violence in childhood, alcohol and Condom use) with all types of gender-based violence. While the multivariate analysis adjusted the results while maintaining greater predictor of each type of gender-based violence with a statistically significant association. Besides being born in the jungle in relation to the coast presented association with psychological violence; having between 30 and 39 in relation to less than 30 presented association with physical violence and have 40 years in relation to less than 30 presented associations with sexual violence.
