Abstract: En el presente trabajo se da a conocer los resultados de una investigación acerca del Clima Escolar Social y Autoconcepto en alumnos de educación secundaria de Lima, se toma como indicadores: el género, el grado escolar, el tipo de colegio y el tiempo de permanencia del estudiante en un mismo centro o colegio.
En dicha investigación participaron 6 colegios estatales y dos colegios particulares, siendo un total de 868 estudiantes. Se utilizó el diseño Descriptivo Correlacional, de muestreo No probabilístico, intencional. Se aplicó dos instrumentos psicológicos: Clima Escolar Social- Reducido de 23 ítemes, tomados de la Prueba original de Clima Escolar Social del Autor: Moos y Cricket, siendo estas de 4 subescalas: Relación, Autorrealización, Estabilidad y Cambio; y Autoconcepto de la autora: B. García; está compuesta de 6 dimensiones: Físico, Social, Familiar, Intelectual, Personal y Sensación de control. Para el análisis estadístico, se utilizó la correlación de Pearson, para las variables. En los resultados existe relación significativa entre el Clima Escolar social y el Autoconcepto.
This paper reports the results of an investigation about the Social School Climate and Self-concept in secondary school students in Lima, taken as indicators: gender, grade level, type of school and the residence time of student in the same school or college. In this research involved six state colleges and two private schools, making a total of 868 students. It was used a descriptive correlational design, no intentional sampling. Two psychological instruments were applied: School Climate Social-Reduced from 23 items taken from the original Test of School Social Climate of Moos and Cricket, with those of four subscales: Relationship, Self-Realization, Stability and Change, and Self-concept of the author : B. Garcia; it is composed of six dimensions: Physical, Social, Family, Intellectual, Personal and Feeling of control. For statistical analysis, was used the Pearson correlation for the variables. In the results was found significant relationship between Social School Climate and Self-concept.
